Aquaman... Might Just Be My Favourite DCEU Movie

I'll be honest, I'm not so much of a DCEU fan. I don't necessarily hate them, it's just that I can never find my interest peaked in any of the film. I remembered watching Batman Vs. Superman at the cinema few years back and it was what drew me away from DCEU. I just couldn't grasp at how, weak the plots are sometimes. But, cinematography wise, the direction of the movie can be seen as promising to me.

So I went to watch Aquaman with no expectations tbvh. I just hoped it would be alright and worth my time and ticket cause I went for IMAX. I did saw the trailer and the visual effects looked crazy good.

Anyway, what did I think of the movie?

I LOVE IT!

The character development was great too. I really don't have much to complain about. Haha. Also, costume design was amazing. I just have to point it out, I want to have a red hair now because of Mera. She's gorgeous!

The visual effects for Aquaman DESERVES recognition. It is a shame that it was not even in the running for OSCARS. Aquaman wasn't even in the shortlisted list which is a shame. Clearly the studios had done an amazing job. Some of the contenders in the shortlist doesn't even deserve the nomination to be very honest.

So, yes. I love the movie.

I got out of the movie feeling happier than when I came in cause I didn't have much expectations yet here I am being blown away
